Client: Swallowtail Hill

Swallowtail Hill is managed by friendly owners Sarah and Christopher, offering idyllic glamping in 40 acres of conservation farmland nestled within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with its own wildflower meadow and woodland near Rye, East Sussex.

BWM was commissioned by partner Twelve Yards Out to work on an SEO project for a new website being designed for Swallowtail Hill in 2018, involving the creation of title and meta description tags. Swallowtail Hill then approached BWM for further marketing consultancy and services.

Strategy and brief.

We began with face to face consultancy on site to get a feel for the business, carrying out a review of Swallowtail Hill’s online presence in discussion with owner Sarah. This included analysis of Google Analytics search traffic and highlighting additional opportunities to boost online visibility.

Campaign objectives: Increase visibility for the glamping side of the business and target a certain demographic via pay per click advertising (PPC).

We created local business listings on Google and Bing, followed by creation of a Google Ads account, comprising a selection of tightly targeted campaigns.
